Program Rules

These rules explain how PCOMPlus points, tiers, rewards, Pride Code bonuses, referrals, and member activity work.

PCOMPlus is an official community rewards platform of The Pride Center of Maryland.

How PCOMPlus Works

PCOMPlus helps members earn points through eligible engagement with The Pride Center of Maryland, including events, wellness programs, community activities, profile completion, Pride Code use, referrals, and other approved opportunities.

Current Tier Structure

PCOMPlus uses this tier structure:

PCOMPlus does not use Silver as part of the current tier structure. Tier thresholds are managed by PCOMPlus. If final thresholds are not confirmed, unconfirmed thresholds should not be displayed publicly.

Profile Completion Bonus

Complete your profile to earn 25 points.

Members may earn 25 points for completing required profile fields. This bonus is credited once per member account.

Pride Code Bonus

Active Pride Code

Charmcity50

When a member enters Charmcity50 during signup or profile setup, PCOMPlus credits 50 points to that member account.

Success message

Your Pride bonus has been added. You received 50 PCOMPlus points.

Dashboard message

Your 50 Baltimore Pride bonus points have been credited.

Rules:

  • One Pride Code bonus is allowed per member account
  • Invalid codes do not receive points
  • Repeated use by the same account will show that the bonus has already been applied
  • Pride Code points appear in the points ledger

Referrals

Members may invite others to join PCOMPlus.

Referral rule:

A member may earn 50 points when a referred person signs up, completes their profile, and qualifies under current PCOMPlus referral rules.

Ongoing referral rule:

A member may earn 5 points for each eligible event the referred person attends in the future, once the future attendance tracking system is active or admin-confirmed.

For the current MVP, referral bonuses may require manual review because the full event attendance verification system is not yet active.

Rules:

  • Self-referrals are not allowed
  • Each new member can have one referrer
  • Referral points may require admin approval
  • PCOMPlus may reverse referral points for misuse, duplicate credit, or error

Event Points

For the current MVP, automatic event attendance points are not active unless PCOMPlus activates that feature.

Event cards may show that an event is point eligible, but event attendance points are not automatically credited until the check-in or attendance verification system is built.

Future event points may require:

  • QR check-in
  • Event code
  • Staff verification
  • Admin approval
  • Eventbrite integration
  • Other attendance confirmation

Rewards

Members may use points to explore eligible rewards, merchandise, recognition opportunities, wellness-centered items, special access, or member benefits.

Reward availability may depend on:

  • Points balance
  • Tier level
  • Reward inventory
  • Program rules
  • Admin approval
  • Event or campaign timing

Redemptions

Members may request eligible rewards through the Rewards Shop.

PCOMPlus may review or deny a redemption request if:

  • The member does not have enough points
  • The reward is unavailable
  • Eligibility is not met
  • The request appears duplicate or improper
  • Program rules change before fulfillment

Points Adjustments

PCOMPlus admins may manually adjust points to correct errors, approve bonuses, reverse duplicate credits, or resolve support issues.

All point adjustments are recorded in the points ledger with a reason.

AI Recommendations

AI-powered recommendations may suggest events or rewards based on:

  • Profile interests
  • Selected activities
  • State or ZIP code
  • Points status
  • Tier
  • Available events
  • Previous activity, if available

AI recommendations do not create guaranteed eligibility for events, points, or rewards.

Member Responsibilities

Members should:

  • Keep account information accurate
  • Use only their own account
  • Avoid self-referrals
  • Follow PCOMPlus program rules
  • Respect community standards
  • Contact support if points or rewards appear incorrect

Program Changes

PCOMPlus may update points, tiers, rewards, eligibility, referrals, and program rules as the platform develops.
